A plain h pipe won't do much for rasp, it's still very raspy especially after 3-4000rpm. You need some sort of packed resonator to reduce rasp. Plain pipe won't do that.
I think the h-pipe gas more growl compared to the x-pipe. I went from the factory resonator, to an x, then h. I have had a few people ask what I did after adding the h-pipe.

Borla Switchfire on my Mach 1. It is a really unique sound, I love it... Expensive but pretty cool..

I have headers, Borla Switchfire, and Borla S-type AxleBack mufflers. There is no drone and its the deepest growl I've heard out of an S550. Sound is subjective though.

:) I don't think it's possible to completely remove all the rasp from a Coyote, especially if you run an x-pipe. I went with H-pipe and glasspacks but WOT still sounds like shredding paper haha
How far away from the H pipe crossover did you place the glass packs? Was there a particular brand you went with for the glass packs?

I have the MBRP Street catback exhaust - I don't have measurements - the 18"glasspacks were centered in the straight run between the H and the first curve on the midpipe section.

I'm curious did you ever have the S-Type + the switchfire before getting the headers? I have a '21 GT PP withe S-Type and H-Pipe configuration but no headers and am curious if putting the switchfire in place of the H-pipe would better the sound?

Yes I did. It will.(In my opinion)
It creates a nice, unique melody.
There's nothing else like it.
