Ford calls it an iOLM ... "i" for "intelligent". Yes, it takes oil temperature, engine RPM, etc into the "algorithm" ... but, as I mentioned above if the car just sits for 1 year without ever running the OLM will still go from 100% to 0% (basically 2% per week), so Ford's "algorithm" is also heavily time factored.That OLM is not an OLM. It's an algorithm calculator.
