What dash cam are you using (if any)?

Just ordered mine and the hard wiring kit. Should be in on Monday but I'll be in Detroit for the next two weeks for work.

Order yourself a couple of ATR Micro2 add-a-circuits for when you go to tap into the fuse block. I know I tapped into #36 for the switched - and can't remember which one I used for unswitched power (one of the unused ones). You'll have to order them from Amazon or Ebay because NO ONE stocks them.

Fuses are ATR micro2 for the small ones or ATL micro3 (dual element) in the passenger cabin. Trust me on this.

Not sure if many others are using Thinkware dash cams from what it seems but I got mine from Amazon at 325. Only because of free 2 day shipping with prime and points. Not a best buy person either (lots of reasons) but that's just me.

I just purchased this one and It'll be here tomorrow, my first dash cam though.

A small one like that, I've got mine tucked up right below the mirror, in the center. Gets you a nice high view angle and hides nicely as well.

For the wire, you can either try tapping right into the wire in the mirror, or the simple way I did it is to route the wire up along the headliner, pop down the passenger A pillar and tuck the wire inside it, then right under the dash on the passenger side. Then you can go into the fuse box, or I actually routed it between the panels right to the 12V outlet there under the radio, since I have no other use for that outlet. Can't see a single bit of wire except for the plug itself. Phone can charge off of the USB down there.

like some others on this thread, i'm rocking a mobius c lens camera, but i have mine mounted on a cruiscam headrest mount, front and rear facing.

i'd like to mount a 3rd mobius on the windshield though.
