If you could have any - one - car, what would it be and why did you choose it?

1967 Corvette w/the 427 BBC or late-model Chevy engine. This particular '67 has the fenders widened a bit.

At this point in my life, I wish I had a '50 Monterey just like the one that I bought in 1971 in Huntsville when I was stationed down there. Stock and solid original except for a 283 2bbl and powerglide and cassette deck. Whether cruising around or highway jaunt back to Berwyn on leave, it pushed all my buttons.

I had a 49 with a modified flathead. I bought the car from a friend who was leaving the country. I was 17 and needed a car. Unfortunately, I didn't realize what a prize I had, as 55 - 58 Chevys were the hot ticket in 1960. I ended up trading the Merc on a 58 Bel Air. I should have kept the Merc.

Money no object, a Jaguar F-Type R would be at the top of my list. Ferrari's, Lambo's and the like do not interest me.

I have been lucky enough to drive a couple of these, on a race track no less, the sound and the unrelenting pace is simply stunning and addictive.

Mine would be a red coupe. It also needs to be the pre-facelift version as these look better and sound way louder.

A truck, because it's hard to live in the country without one. 🤷‍♂️

I'd have to get my one choice as pre-owned-2016 was the last year it was made. I hate missing out on the "bespoke" process, but the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe is it. Top Gear gave it 8 of 10 and the only negative was the price. Fast, elegant, comfortable, and it even handles.

Easy choice for me. Too bad these have gone up in value so much. A 993 911 Turbo is a VERY close second to this.
