This happens often these days unfortunately, we are all being placed under tremendous pressure, especially in the last few years, your not alone!
Research Wim Hof on Ytub, his relaxing methods work really well for controlling emotions and relaxing our busy minds!
Highly recommend for everyone...
I totally agree with the above. EB is fine and a great car, and I have a 2015 GT gen 2 stage 2 Whipple 6 spd manual.
The only other advise I would say is get a 6spd manual, then it would be a fun drivers car!
Good luck and enjoy...
To answer your original question, it is an issue with your car, rather than the Lund tune. Lund tunes are highly vetted, there must be a mechanical or component issue somewhere I will bet. Maybe a sensor.
A quick test may help, flash back to stock tune, and see if the issue is resolved, don't...
I just had my 2015 replaced with the Ford GT500 aluminum covers. The kit came with new bolts gaskets and new oil cap. Was around $300.
I did try to tighten the blots first, it worked for few days but then started to leak even worse.
My installer said the original plastic covers were warped.
If you plan on boosting it the gen 2 Coyote 5.0 2015 to 2017 is the best, it is basically the roadrunner 5.0 from the gen 1 Boss Mustang.
The gen 3s 2018 and higher are also very good, but they are still relatively new, so time will tell.
Anyway you go you are going to LOVE this platform, in my...
Yes correct. When I had my flex tune my tuner told me that every time I switch fuel grades, I need to wait 10 min idling, revving little here and there for the ECU to relearn the new fuel used. Once you do that you don't have to do the relearn procedure as long as you use the same fuel.
It is...
Did you check the AM reviews? One guy explained how he installed it, he had to remove the speaker, and I believe he also bought a kit. Expensive upgrade!!!
Good luck!
You only have to do the 10 minutes idle/rev wait learn the first time you switch to a different gas blend and tune, and back to flex, as long as you use the same fuel afterwards.
Not sure why they are telling you this is only a transition tune, as far as I understand and know you an run flex...
Running flex tune will not hurt your car, it was designed to switch between 91/93 and e85 mid stream. You will not get as much aggressive timing like in dedicated e85, but will work well .
After filling tank with e85, and switching to flex tune, did you wait and idle car for 10 minutes revving...
From a cost savings point of view it is basically a wash, at least here in Long island New York...it is definitely more fun though, you can feel the power and torque comes up early in the rpm. But also a pain to fill-up gas more often...if you have the extra money burning in your pocket do it...
Expect to get around 30% worst mpg on E85. I would not use E85 as daily, as it requires more cleaning maintenance on engine. This is my experience reading on and using E85 myself.
Running without cats stinks, and don't let anyone convince you otherwise, done it once and not going to do it again!
If you daily your car don't do it, if you mostly race it different story then...
Question,
Why did you go with gen 2 heads? Also, the gen 2 compression is 11:1, and gen 3 12:1, so what is the compression going to be on your hybrid setup?
I thought it was more desirable to go gen 2 short block for durability, and with gen 3 heads for port and direct injection no?
OP, I am not an expert in this topic at all, but I can almost guarantee that ALL of your answers will be covered well by a reputable tuner you select. Don't make any guesses and listen to infinite opinions on something that is supper critical!
Reputable tuners know most of the setups, and have...
