Had 500 miles on my 2021 GT and some ding dong didn't tie down a 4x4 fence post. That didn't end well for the 'ol Mustang at highway speeds at night. I tried to avoid it but caught the front right tire. Two cars behind me also blew out tires and were disabled.

10k in damages. Wheel/tire/rear wheel/paint/Roush items (expensive as one can imagine)/inner fender liner/right headlight assembly/shock & tower. My luck.

Oh well. Guess I will have some fresh paint and wax.

10 yrs ago my wife and a few others drove over a ladder that fell off a truck. Dented oil pan totaled the car. Was an old Forster, so no great loss. Just real inconvenience. I feel your pain.

Interesting enough, the Continental tire didn't go flat.

There was no driving this car after the impact. The inside rim of the wheel was grinding on the shock. Had I stabbed the brakes in a panic...pretty sure I would have done a 360.

The car should be back at the end of this month. The body shop said it wasn't bad at all, just the parts from Roush are spendy. The wheels...damn.

I may take it down to the Big Bend Open Road race (TX) early this next year and see how it does against all those corvettes. I just don't have a lot of seat time in the car for open road racing though. Oh well...only live once and I'm retired. What else am I gonna do?

I purchased it with super low miles. It has 5500 miles total.

No doubt. Thank you. I live at 7550' elevation, so driving the car is about done until spring of next year.
