VTT Stage 2 is HERE!!!

I'm eager to see a sound clip with the exhaust. I'm looking to snap up the MBRP (but race instead). Wondering how much it changes the note. Will you be posting one or just numbers?

My opinion exhaust videos are worthless, it never ever sounds anything like what it does in person. I can tell you even with the street version it's loud, as it gets rid of the restriction that is the stock turbine housing. I took a video on my home with the go pro, I'll post it, but honestly it's not going to come across as it doesn't in person. I would be careful with exhaust choice if you plan on doing this upgrade, I was shocked it changed the exhaust note that much.

With all that said, the exhaust note sounds a 1000 times better than it did before, much deeper, but also much louder. The turbo also got rid of all my low throttle compressor surge, we had previously

I am very excited for this upgrade. I had thought about many different turbo upgrades but I wasn't willing to foot the bill for most of them but this one is right in my budget and I am ready to purchase it as soon as possible. Oh did I say I'll be moving to California in two weeks? I'll have to stop by and say hi and see how things are coming and maybe pick one up for myself here soon haha.

Photos of the silicone charge pipes, and passenger side inlet. I have the hotside charge pipe, and passenger inlet installed, have to go pick up my BOV bung at 10 am for the cold side pipe. Then I will post install pics, I can say the passenger inlet fits like a damn glove...:clap2:

We wont be doing a DIY install video in house as we do not want to pull it off again. We have someone who is willing to do a very detailed DIY, and video for us though. Honestly this turbo takes basic mechanical skills to swap. As I said I did it in one hour, it will not be an issue. If you already have all the other charge pipes, and inlets thats fiine. We will be offering a package deal with the turbo, and our Passenger inlet / CP's. Silicone is always the best choice, zero heat transfer, flexes with the motor, minimizes clamp connections. Also the inlet is wire impregnated to insure strength, and it wont suck closed, the CP's are 6 ply high grade silicone.

Me too. He said he has a GoPro video... been closely watching this thread since yesterday, he said he's going to upload it. I'm right on the edge of pulling the trigger on an MBRP Race exhaust... but this upgrade has my attention, and if I don't like the sound of the MBRP+this Stage 2, I might have to look around a bit more.

As stated you cannot tell what an exhaust truly sounds like in a video. If you plan on going stage 2, and do not want a very loud exhaust note, get the quieter version.

The lower RPM definitely sounds deeper after the S2, but seems to scream as it gets higher. Thanks for the clip.
