So by now most of you know about our Stage 2 turbocharger which can take a stock motor EBM, and propel it down the 1/4 mile in 10.7 seconds, well we have decided to step it up one notch for people looking for a stock location 600WHP plug, and play turbo option!

We have added Stage 2+ to the line up, which now includes a 76MM compressor wheel instead of the 71MM that comes in the Stage 2.

What does this mean? It means more airflow out of the same package which is good for another 50WHP over the Stage 2. This is great news for people with built motor looking for that extra power without going to a full turbo kit, this turbo will do it for you!

So to make it simple for everyone.

Looking for stock power to 550WHP Stage 2 is the one for you.

Planning to the build the motor, and go for broke without spending a fortune. Step it up to Stage 2+ for 600WHP capability.

The stage 2+ option is $300 more than a normal stage 2, and are IN STOCK RIGHT NOW. We have 15 Stage 2+ ready to ship as of today.

We wanted to make this announcement before we shipped the Stage 2 TS turbos in case anyone wanted to upgrade before we did.

Simply pay the extra $300, and we will send you a 2+ instead of the Stage 2. If you have not ordered a stage 2 simply select stage 2+ from the drop downs when you do. Link: http://performance.vargasturbo.com/mustang-ecoboost/

We have yet to get this turbo on the dyno as we just got them, but with our experience with this 76MM wheel, and turbine combo. Its an easy 600WHP turbo. Very soon Mark will be running on his car, as well as Jason Justi who are both looking for mid to low 10's on built motors.

As always we appreciate your support, and here to answer any questions!

Thanks!

Would love to see a pull from yours when you get your stage two. Haven't seen a big turbo EBM in person or Miami yet.
Definitely! I'm going to make some videos racing my friends stock 5.0 & I'll do some track times as well:headbang:

These have been on the market for over a year in single scroll form. We have yet to have a report of even a SINGLE failure. Many have done extensive mileage on theirs. Others have taken them to the strip many many times. Our turbo on the shop test car has literally hundreds, and hundreds of high boost dyno pulls in both single, and twin scroll configuration, and almost 15K miles on it. Not a single issue. In other words reliability is insanely good...

These will spool about the same as a normal Stage 2. Maybe 1-200 RPM slower.

This is how stage 2 TS 100% E85 looks compared to Stock Turbo Stock tune EBM, Stock Turbo FBO EBM with 93 Oct Cobb tune. Its pretty insane really

Not to disagree with MAP, but those dimensions are not correct.

For comparison sake.

is it worthwhile to upgrade to the 2+ even if 550+ isn't the end goal. More like is it more efficient to use it at a lower hp rating. Than to max out the smaller one.

Can you post a dyno sheet with the X axis being RPM for both the stage 2 twin scroll and stage 2 plus twin scroll on 93 octane?

Hello, we only test our cars on E85 currently, as we are looking for the max a turbo can support. What you will get on 93 is 100% up to your tune, and other upgrades. We have no graphs for 2+ yet, it will be similar to stage 2 TS with about 100-200 more spool time, with a trade off 600WHP flow support. We have not tested it as are waiting for a built motor car. It will handily blow up our stock motor shop car if pushed anywhere near its limit. Thanks
