Ok guys, so working with Jon Lund, we finally got this semi car dialed in to where we are happy with the power, and think its safe. It was a balancing act, because we believe, and Jon concurs if we did not have the limits of the stock motor, we could easily hit 520WHP/520WTQ with out issue, with the same flat TQ plateau you see here. We will be playing with it more, prob see more power, and will take it to the track next week.addle:
We bring boost in semi slowly on purpose in the midrange to spare the rods, and rod bearings. Its making about 27 psi midrange tapering up to 31 psi up top.
Where we stopped was: 462WHP / 439WTQ STD We also include uncorrected numbers, and SAE numbers as well as Area under the curve. Personally I have never seen an Area under the curve graph like that, its basically a block of power from one end the other. Its nuts!
First graph is just the TS by itself
Next is TS Vs SS
3rd is TS Vs EFR 7163 which would seem to be its closest competitor.
Next is TS Area under the curve
SS Area under the Curve
SS Vs TS Area Under the Curve
Multiple runs to show how consistent the car is as we played with it.
The results speak for themselves, lets not forget this upgrade is $1999...
This was of course done on Jon's awesome tuning. Full specs are as follows:
2015 EBM AT PP
VTT Stage 2 Twin Scroll Turbocharger
VTT Silicone Passenger side inlet
VTT Silicone Charge pipes
TS Race port BOV
ATP Downpipe
CP-e PI Aux fuel kit
MRP Street exhaust
VTT Single shot LPFP (more on this soon)
100% E85
Lund Tuning
We will be bringing Marks Car down with the built motor soon, will dyno his SS, then put his TS on it, and really turn it up. Then we should see what this bad boy can do.
So far beyond pleased with the results. Break down
TS hits 400WTQ at 2850
SS hits 400WTQ at 4100 (+1250RPM)
TS holds 460WHP at 6500RPM (+26WHP)
SS holds 434WHP at 6500RPM
No loss or power on the top end!
Huge Thanks to Jon, at Lund for taking the time to dial this in slowly, and surely. All while being a perfect gentleman. Humble, and very easy to work with. Thanks again buddy!:first:
I think these results make it pretty clear VTT S2 for EBM is :first:
Thanks as always for the support!
