You finally get it sorted out man?
Man not really lol. Think I might have some false knock somewhere. When I switch between gears I feel the car bog as if I have traction control on. I took advanced traction control off and it felt a little better but you can still feel like its pulling timing. Lund said it can possibly be false knock. I want 12lbs I'm on 10lbs now. I have no idea how much power I'm making.I'm gonna have to take to a tuner which is what I should've done in the first place. Im thinking my boost controller needs to be adjusted. Probably the reason why I'm seeing 9.5 to10lbs of boost because the wastegate is opening at 10 instead of 12. Lund acts like they've never seen a setup like mine plus they dont know were the boost gauge should be set.

Then lund said centrifugal supercharger are known to have false knock issues.... I'm like I should've gotten a whipple smdh and what is false knock it keep getting different answers. Between bad gas a vibration from your exhaust?

False knock is simply noise picked up by the knock sensors that doesn't come from the the engine itself. Like exhaust rattling on something. However, you need to catch knock in a datalog, or while monitoring the knock PID with an OBD2 app/gauge to make sure that is what is causing your issue before assuming it's knock or false knock. If you have an android phone, you can monitor knock and a lot of other things easily with the Torque app. There's probably something for Apple phones too, but I don't know of an iOS app that lets you create your own custom PIDs. The knock PID isn't available by default on any OBD2 app that I know of, so you need to be able to enter a custom one.

All you need aside from the app is a OBD2 to bluetooth dongle. I recommend this one: https://www.amazon.com/ScanTool-OBD...words=obd2+mx&qid=1552397052&s=gateway&sr=8-3.

That's about the cheapest way to keep an eye on knock. You can also use an Ngauge or other tuning tools that have logging capabilities.

Best way to get some help here is catch your issue in a datalog and post the log here. Sounds like Lund isn't being much help, or you aren't giving them a good log to look at. If you really want to solve your issues, you need to datalog like crazy. Log everything. Read the logs, learn to interpret them. Or get a more hands-on local tuner.

Thanks. Yeah lund ask me to send them a log. I need to send them a log but I have the SCT x4 and I have no idea how to send a log to them. I have to drive a hour away for this shop to do the logging then wait for lund to get back to me... shit is a all day process. Guy at the shop uses a Ngauge and I dont feel like spending anymore money on something I already have. I know u can do it with the SCTĂ—4 I just dont want to mess anything up. If it's easy and someone has some directions I may try to do it myself. This tuner around the way is good but he charges close to 800 for tune

Paxton 2200SL - I made 652rwhp @ 11psi on the 3.6" pulley. No quarter mile yet as I just installed the new drive shaft this winter. I also just installed the 3.48" pulley, and I will update with those Dyno results in a few weeks. Looking to crack the 700s.

This is all on 93 octane + Torco.

Hey there. Just installed my p1 kit last week and had false knock as well. However, mine was only in 5th gear at 6500+. My 4th gear pulls were fine. Lund didn't really say much about it. I did have false knock prior to the install when we did a dyno day and have addressed a couple avenues it might have been such as my headers touch my steering column as well the as the sensor position when I swapped tot he 18 IM. Lund said my 4th gear looked fine and hasn't revised it since so I'm just driving it as is. Going to have my shop look at it a little more when I have them install my smaller pulley. Luckily, the car still feels really powerful but just doesn't put down that much on the dyno. It reads about 8-9lbs of boost and put down a little under 600.

I know you’ve dumped a ton in the car. However, if you plan to keep it, I’d sell the SCT tuner and get an NGauge. You might be able to find a used one in the classifieds

I left Charlotte BTW ‍♂‍♂

I don't know anything about the SCT x4, but I found this on their website: https://support.bamaperformance.com...45589-How-to-Datalog-with-the-Bama-SCT-X4-SF4

Holy shit! I always use my SCT and laptop. I assume you just need to load configuration file to the SCT and then go from there?

Yes sir,you can only do one log at a time that way.But u just log a run, import it to.sct live link then do another log.The log will stay on the sct even if u turn power off.
