Anybody running a turbo smart guard on your blower? I hear the JLT cold air pipe is restrictive and you can pick up a pound of boost with the smart guard. Can you feel the difference?

It is worth it for short term use. Here is open blower/turbo guard vs. paxton/vortech intake pipe. This was my car on the 3.80 pulley on 93.

Difference was 35rwhp.

You gain about 30 hp running without a filter, which the turbo guard would essentially allow you to do.

You might not feel a difference but it definitely makes a slight increase in power. I run a vibrant stubby filter on mine when I’m cruising but take it off at the track or in Mexico

Do you have a picture of the filter you run? Where did you get it?

the filter is great for the street,

at the track, i just run it open, turbo guard actually costs hp too...
