Just got off the phone with them.

Was told the parts are machined, at anodizing and they should have them back Thursday for shipping Friday.

Same here. If back from anodizing should ship Thursday.

I got mine without issues. I'm sorry those who experience bad customer service. Those camber plates are a work of art.

Got a notice today that mine are shipping. I'm happy. :)

On a side note, for those who have them already installed on an R, how much worse was the tramlining afterwards?

Vorshlag only sells direct?

Anyone else offering a holiday weekend discount on their camber plates?

Thanks.

Me crazy, and I can't help myself
Just an update. I finally got a shipment notification from Vorshlag but they never responded to any of my phone calls, emails or voicemails. There was some discussion on Facebook by some customers who were having similar experiences. Terry Field who is the owner of Vorshlag chose to come on and his first response was to post Meme's in response to anyone who had made a complaint about customer service. Later he chose to make a post which explained the situation which I felt was redeeming, and also mentioned that the meme was meant to be a joke. I was ready to forgive and forget but then Terry decides to post up the details of my order, and sarcastically apologizing for "my wait of 8 business days".

If Terry does not understand that its not amount of time it takes but the transparency and communication (or lack thereof) that frustrate customers than I'm not sure I can help him. The behavior from Terry has completely reinforced my opinion. I will not purchase from Vorshlag again and if it wasn't so difficult to ever get someone on the phone I would return these camber plates and buy a different set.... This is just my own feedback of my own experience. YMMV

Wow..surprising behavior and agree, not very professional. I inquired about the Vorshlag camber plates, a sales rep answered all my questions via email exchange and within a few hours the order was shipped out. I will say the Vorshlag camber plates are very popular on BMW platforms as they had excellent durability (with the very large top bearing) and the company has a great long term reputation in their product being used in race applications (which is why I didn't hesitate buying them for the GT350). The issue on other platforms is that sometimes the Vorshlag plates the ride height slightly, whereas on the GT350, I did not notice a ride height increase.

MM would have been my second choice, however the Vorshlag design and range adjustability I found to be superior. don_jones, sorry about your experience, but if there is any silver lining, I think you (and your alignment shop) will be quite satisfied with the product over time.

Been watching this thread. Called them today and was advised all parts for OEM perch style are in stock today. They told me I would get shipping notification either today or tomorrow latest. Will advise what happens. I am hopeful that this was just a reflection of timing between batches. Altho I will agree that there seems to be a communication issue described by others. I will hope for the best.:cheers:

Shortly after this thread started, I received shipping confirmation for the plates. They arrived 5 days later and are currently installed without any issues.

I hate doing business with arses. However IMHO, they make the best camber plates. Decisions decisions......

That's the conundrum I'm faced with.

He also thinks the 350 is equipped with the voodoodoo as he called it. While it's his opinion and he is entitled to one, I'm not sure it reflects well on a business who likely sells a fairly good percentage ot s550 plates to 350 owners.

Honestly, nobody makes camber plates better than Vorshlag. If you want the best, it's no brainer.

Thanks for the info. Maybe he's too busy writing super long posts on Corner Carvers forums to answer calls or emails. I'm also not very tolerant of a business owner who insults my equipment... so to speak. :D

I finally received mine - they are installed and are great.

That been said, it was 6 weeks and a whole host of answered emails and calls. If I had known that before hand I would have ordered elsewhere.

Took a chance, e mailed them on Friday evening, got a response over the weekend, ordered them, and just got the notice they are shipping today. So what ever was the issue seems like it's corrected now. So far couldn't be smoother or faster!
