Hey guys I just made the switch to a full e85 tune on my A10 2020 GT. I followed all the protocols on the conversion and about 20 miles into driving I did a couple pulls WOT to about 5k. I notice a sudden power loss which led to the car stalling and having a light saying to switch to N And restart, which it did . I used my SCT x4 to diagnose it and I’m reading misfire codes p0300 and po316. Car only has 16k has anyone had an Issue like this?

Wait for them to reply. But in the meantime you could clear the codes, re-flash the tune and see if it comes back.

My neighbor had these miss firing codes on his 2020. Coil pack on #3 and injector melted at the connector.

Clear codes, go back to the old tune and see if it codes come back at idle. If they do, it's not the tune.

Interesting, unfortunately I can’t do that as the car has e85 in the tank and letting it idle with the stock tune wouldn’t be a great idea. I was not throwing any codes until the day after I uploaded the custom tune. Unfortunately doesn’t look like they’re in a rush to help lol

I actually did a crank relearn right before reading this I just didn’t do the KAM reset after is that needed after a relearn? And should I drive the car for a bit after? Either way after I had No codes so far and everything is running ok.
The codes only seem so appear after a cold start. If it doesn’t appear tomorrow then I think we solved the problem with that. 🤞🏽

It amazes me that people continue to buy bama tunes. I feel like every week a new issue with them is posted.
Wait…. Maybe I’m ignorant but I had no idea bama and VMP were the same…. I’ve heard horror stories.

My apologies I misread. I don’t believe them to be the same.

It's a tune issue. I once had this P0316 about 3 years ago, switching tune fixed it, mine happened on cold starts. Hope your car isn't going into limp mode. Don't hurt your engine, bite the bullet and switch tuners and I hope you haven't hurt your engine.

If it's not a mechanical problem on your end, then maybe your tune has bad injector data. Does your issue happen on cold starts as car starts to warm up also? If so, bad injector info in the tune, I'm pretty confident, it's a tune issue related probably to injectors. If it's not the tuner, then what type of injector brand do you have in the car? Good brand? or generic unknown copy cat name injector?
