If June is said to be the end of 2020 production and this pandemic trend continues we may all be looking at 2021 models. The projections show a peak mid April and its not significantly better until entering June.
Patrick,

You have been a friend. I have a few masks/respirators. If your department runs short, let me know.

Will do my friend, so far we are pretty well stocked. Thanks for the offer.

There is a good chance that the 2020 MY will end in Oct, maybe later. Time will tell.
Earl, when the FRAP continued to assemble various 2019 Mustang models until pretty much the beginning of September of last year your suggestion that Mustang production for the 2020 MY will continue until the end October, 2020 and possibly beyond makes complete sense.

Can confirm that a 2019 Mustang I ordered wasn’t produced until late August or early September, after the model year had ended according to Donlen. Didn’t purchase it due to dealer issues but I can see this model year last longer and cutting the 2021 model.

I can’t see the F150 plant retooling in June either when they haven’t shown anything beyond spy shots for the 2021 model.

All of this is frustrating and I really hate that I have so much money sitting in a dealers hands and all the info seems to be hearsay. I know a pandemic is hard for Ford to give transparent decisions on but the entire model year has been this way.

Well shit. Begged my dealer to ask the zone rep to not make me wait until the end like I already had to do with my R in 16.....

My company ordered a semi before the new EPA emissions were mandated several years ago. We received a VIN shortly after the order.

The YM we ordered was built and received almost 2 years after the actual YM of the truck.

Not saying this will happen with Ford, but it wouldn’t surprise me if all issued VIN’s are built before the 2021 switchover.

Thanks, and good eye, it’s actually a custom from a small shop in Santa Fe.
I've always liked the people of OK. I went to pilot training at Vance AFB in Enid. A great state with people who are sincerely friendly.

Troy: I KNOW my hearing suffered from walking out to Navy aircraft, (with no hearing protection,) and all the Tweets that would pass through Corpus on cross country's. :-) DAMN those things were SCREECHINGLY loud. <smile>

PS. I commend you on your choice of screen names, very witty, and I will presume that you went rotary after Vance?

Yes sir the 7000 lb dog whistle. I did go Rotary wing. That’s what a 47 NSS gets you. Haha Slingblade was my first callsign that later ended up changing. The callsign was perfect though. Has something to do with my East Texan speaking abilities and this movie.
