I find it very strange that some of these cars don't exhibit this vibration problem until they get some miles on them.
I only have 800 miles, but I did notice it from the onset. Just wasn't convinced it wasn't something in my head. Just recently had a friend in the car and asked what he thought. So it has been there since the car was picked up.

Does everyone who has this problem have 20" wheels?

Update: Dropped car off early this morning & was told a couple hours... Just picked car up (1:30 pm) with absolutely nothing done to it. Was told they were backed up, & a man short today. I found lift points for floor jacks on the the front, but can't seem to find a suitable place to lift from the rear. Going to take off the fronts in the next day or two & have them forced balanced to see if vibes disappear.

They are there - the rear lift points are identified with little triangles just like the front.

I think I saw them, but it didn't look like enough area for a floor jack. I'll look again. Thanks Foghat.

I had the same problem, had the drive shaft replaced and it is good now. Make sure they line up the yellow paint match marks on the drive shaft and pinion flange. The Tech didnt do it on mine, I reinstalled it myself( I am a Tech) makes a big difference lining up the paint match marks.See vibration between 50 and 70 post #86 for pics of the paint marks, Good luck,Bill....I forgot to add they road force balanced my tires and replaced 1 tire and 1 rim it made no difference.

Where are these "little triangles" located? Are these the points where the spare tire jack would go, or some other jacking point on the car?

Those are the points where the factory jack would go. I have two racing jacks & am still unsure where to lift the rear up @...

You can see them if you look underneath the car (along the fender/door). These would be spare tire jack points. My hydraulic jack worked fine.

Just came back from my dealer and a new drive shaft has been ordered. Hopefully this solves the problem but reading all the posts will have to wait and see.

Update: had wheels forced balanced today. Not a single bit of change. Car's @ dealers now & will hopefully hear something tomorrow.

10:50 am... Have a tech who's been with Ford for over 30 years now assigned to the car. Drove it & said without hesitation that the vibration/resonance was NOT a tire issue.
Is inspecting the drivetrain right now.
Will update later today hopefully.

Tech is @ a loss... Says driveshaft appears to be balanced, & has NO idea what's causing the vibe/rez? Has escalated the issue to Ford & is waiting for them to advise. Will know more Monday.

How did he conclude the drive shaft appears to be balanced? Just by looking at installation marks, or did he take it out and put it on a balancing machine?
