Yea, it won't fit that grill unforunately :(Any issues with the 50th anniversary grill?
Yeah, I had the same issue. I said screw it and cut out the back of the grill opening. Kinda regretting that now.Am I the only one that had one hell of a time getting this installed? Stock GT grill, couldn't get the bumper back on right next to the drivers side headlight. Had to dremel down some of the raised bits on the inlet of the big mouth to get everything to fit, and it was still a pain
I was about to do the same thing but thought it would look weird with just that corner of the grill missing so I went to town on the big mouth instead. At least none of that is visible so only I know lol. Oh and that screw inside the bumper is such a pain in the ass! HahaYeah, I had the same issue. I said screw it and cut out the back of the grill opening. Kinda regretting that now.
Yea it works with either. Closed boxes are better in this application.I havent looked at this thread in forever since development. Does the big mouth work with either jlt or steeda CAI? (still deciding which one) does it need a totally closed box, it looks like the steeda seals up pretty decent

Shorter and/or wider so it fits over the back side of the grill better would be a big help. Thanks for the input guys, I made a few changes to make it easier. I shortened it by about 1/4".
Done.Shorter and/or wider so it fits over the back side of the grill better would be a big help.
I'm not 100% sure about the RTR grill. A few people asked me about that, but I never test fitted it to an RTR grill. I might have to get a local car with an RTR grill to know for certain. But I dont know when that will happen.Would this work with the CDC Outlaw or RTR grill with the LEDs?
