I posted replies in both the what did you do to your Mach1 and what did you do to your S550 threads, but want to put a fresh thread here for informational purposes.

Got my Velgen VF5s in 19x10/19x11 gloss gunmetal yesterday afternoon. Just an FYI mine are heavier than advertised. Velgen states 22-23 lbs for both front and year. Mine were 24.2/24.4 front and 24.8/25.0 rear. I weighed them each twice. That was on a scale that is a little light in that weight range. My scale weighs a 22 lb and a 27.5 lb dumbell both about .2 lb light.

Im gonna keep them cause thats still way lighter than the OEM HP wheels. But had i known the weight i may have stuck with my original plan of SVE M1 HP replica wheels for less $ and 1 - 1.5 lb lighter each, or saved a bit more $ for 3-4 months and gotten forged wheels.

All that said they are beautiful wheels!

Agreed, they are really nice! Love mine as well. I went with bigger wheels than stock (19” vs 18”) and much wider tires (275/295 vs 235) and the Velgen wheel tire combos were still lighter than stock!

I love the VF5 as well. I opted for them before the 19's were available so I got 20's. They look really nice and are significantly lighter than the factory PP wheels I had..

Those are great looking wheels!

Don't feel too bad about them weighing slightly more than advertised - I have bought a lot of custom forged wheels over the years and it's pretty normal for the wheels to show up heavier than promised. Usually they were 10-20%(!!) heavier than they would tell me when spec-ing them out and ordering, although twice wheels have been LIGHTER than they thought they would be. One of the companies (HRE) actually took the overweight wheels back and re-cut them because they were embarrassed that the wheels came in so much heavier than they thought they would be.

They look great, lets be honest it's tough to notice that small weight difference especially on a street car. On other cars I've changed from 25 lb to 15 lb wheels (from 215 to 225 tire size so not dramatically heavier tire) and barely noticed a change, and that was a 200hp 2700 lb car.

An under rated wheel imo. Lightweight and weigh around the same as a VMS dragpack set but look 10x better. Satin black wheels + magnetic paint = clean look

Pulled the trigger on the 19" gunmetal. Doing a squared setup with 285/35 once i figure out how i'm going to pay for all this....lol. I looked at a lot of wheels but always came back to these for some reason. Trying to find something that goes with the Carbonized Grey other than black wheels was hard for me.
