Looking to do a new setup for the spring. In the fall as a test I bought some used 20" Velgen CV5's but I am not crazy about the size of them, I am looking to go back to a 19" staggered setup. Anyone here have the VF5 in a 19x10/11 and what size tire are you running. I am also going to be adding the whipple to the car so Im looking at least 305 rear. Looking to not get anyone poking out of the fender. I was told I could do a 285/35/19 front and 325/30/19 rear. Any photos of this from anyone? Seems pretty wide. Thanks in advance.

Velgen VF5 here, 19x10 front and 19x11 rear. Running Conti EC2 Sport 275/35 front and 295/35 rear. Love the setup and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Car looks great! I may have to go a little wider in the rear for traction though.

I’m running a 19x10/11 setup with 285/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear, and it sits pretty flush with no poke. A 325 in the rear might work, but it depends on your offset and if you’re lowered. I’d double-check clearance, especially with the Whipple adding weight up front. If you want a sure fit, 305 is safe.

Tire height, sidewall, and compound all play a bigger role than tire width in terms of straight line traction FYI. I have a 1059 WHP Camaro so I’m quite familiar with the traction struggle lol ;)

My initial thought was a 275 front with the 305 rear. But why the 35 front and 30 rear? Different sidewall to compensate for the weight? And Josh 1059HP! damn. you clearly know traction issue. I am on stock suspension btw
