You cannot outrun dust. You also cannot teach your wife to close the trunk without touching that panel:frusty:

I'm in the same waiting game with CA people...

I ordered mine November 9th. So right at the 3 month mark now. Every day I check my mailbox hoping to see a DMV letter.

No Indiana Custom Plates also means no custom phrases
First of all, some of you may know that Indiana has been going through a sort of political identity crisis over freedom of diversity. We pass laws to protect the religious class, and upset the LGBT's. Then we modify the law, and tick off the religious groups. It's a mess.

On a related note, the DMV is not allowed to issue vanity plates, and for almost a year now. Again it is a freedom of speech issue. There is a lawsuit that (to dumb it down) boils down to 1) If you can have a religious plate, then 2) can you also have an anti-religion or hate-group plate?

Mind you, this is about the style of plate, and not the actual number itself. So, until they sort that out, no one is allowed to order a custom number. I reviewed all the plate styles and chose the common 200-year anniversary plate, mainly bc it has blue and yellow colors. People have even commented on that.

Therefore, while I cannot order a custom plate, at least I can have plenty of time to come up with phrases! Such as...

SUBMARIN - Beatles reference (dating me, yes I know)
SUN SKY - referring to my color scheme
THAT GUY - obvious, and obnoxious
and of course various references to the car itself.
