I used Powerstop pads for a whole season. They are good at the track. The dust can ruin the finish of your wheels. My wheels looked always dirty even when I cleaned them.
I posted a thread in the classifieds section. Posting here for more visibility. I am in Fairfax, VA
I don't have the mustang anymore. The wheels are the same bolt pattern as my new car, but the diameter of the tires are too big. That's why I am selling them...

I am selling my winter wheel and tire from my previous car, 2016 Mustang GT PP (yes it clears the brembos). I drove with them for three winters. I put less than 6000 miles on them...
So I am having sounds as well. Sound only comes after the initial brake application. I release the brake pedal. If I press it again, I hear the sound. I can make it sound more by pressing and letting go of the brake until I stop. It's really weird. Tomorrow I will check the struts and see if I...
Not sure if this comment this for me. I think it was my first time at summit point. I really want to go an HPDE there. But I don't think I have the budget for it. I didn't commit to full season in Summit Point in 2018. I did a full season in Dominion Raceway, though.
This season I will be...
I have. I went there for TrackCross. There was no mention of a decibel limit. We also were on the Shenandoah track. So maybe the main track has the limit. Only limit we had was the quiet hour from 11 to 12. That's Sundays only I think
I had no idea Summit Point had decibel limit. I have Solo Mach thunder. I hope I won't have issue in the future. I will also need to measure mine to have a reference point
I also use magnetic ones from Track decal. No problems with the 12" one. I have done 3 track days with them. One with non stop pouring rain. No issues. I try to clean them after each event and also make sure the paint is clean as well.
so true. The trophy is always your own car and being to drive it back home.
Yesterday I had a wet Track Cross at Dominion. It rained a lot more than the day OP and I were at Summit Point. I drove it at Normal mode. Less twitchy pedal was definitely comforting at low grip situations. Several...
I can definitely put down better times in Track mode. I definitely get close to the limits of the car and without traction control I can control the car better. If it's a competitive event and you want better times, traction control might get in the way, like @NightmareMoon said.
Also if there...
