I offered to teach my sister-in-law a manual but she balked. Plus she wants a camero. I am about to disown her. My brother always had Ford vans for his transport business and he bought her a Lincoln Navigator a year or so before he left us and she is like 4'6" tall and needs a ladder to detail it. It was not until recently that I realized that I have never had a car or truck with an automatic transmission. My wife’s cars have all been automatics, and yes, I drive them. But, for the 52 years I have been driving my cars and trucks have all been manuals.

Some day in the future, I guess it will become a thing of the past like controlling the engine timing with a lever on the steering wheel. Or, perhaps, hitching a horse to a buggy. Sad in some ways, but time marches on and waits for no man.
