Does anyone have any experience moving from an auto V6 to manual GT? I currently have a 2014 V6 auto premium and am picking up a '15 GT PP MT this weekend (done deal). Just wondering how high to set my expectations for the power difference!

Imagine acceleration that makes you scream out in joy and giggle uncontrollably....then add another 10%...

I love the V-6 but the GTA of course is a whole different experience. It definitely has better acceleration and the better engine sound. I rarely even play the radio...

The difference between an auto v6 and the manual GT will be night and day. There is a difference between an auto and manual GT even. I had an auto 13 GT and this 15 manual GT pulls noticeably harder.

I've had mine for over two months and don't even know if the radio works. :D

I care about infotainment
Coyote, especially with the 3.73 gears is going to be like a rocket compared to the V6. It shocked the hell out of me when I first test drove it coming from a 2009 GT.

My girlfriend recently bought a 2014 v6 auto convertible. I've put some miles on it and really like the car. Power is also good IMO. With that, the power difference of my GT (3.73's) is immediately felt and clearly superior as I switch cars.

Better believe you'll notice.

I'd say your in for quite the shock initially. My 07 GT was a 5 speed with 4:10 gears and even the base 15 manual crushed it on a test drive for that seat of the pants fun factor.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to play with a beater manual first just to get the hang of rev matching. Especially practice rush hour driving, you don't want to wear down the clutch by either riding it or poor rev matching.

I have about 75% of the experience lol.

have a 2013 v6 and went to a 2015 gt but its an auto.

And the difference is pretty nice. imagine that moment when your v6 makes you smile and then seconds later it stops?

with the gt that moment never really fades until you get use to the power.

My 15 GT PP is probably the easiest manual transmission car to drive that I have ever experienced. With all the assists the car has, it would be pretty hard to stall, unless you literally came to a complete stop without applying the clutch. I've had one whif of my clutch and that was when I was in a hurry to parallel park one night and revved it a little hard in reverse. I've never driven a V6 Mustang, but I'm sure it will be night and day. Congrats on the purchase!
