I'm not sure if you will but I'm definitely not sure that you won't... Idt there is much to worry about with the six/8 I think the six actually had less problems. We will see soon enough...I've got 40k on my 11 6 with 2k miles on a race tune and it seems fineToo bad, you'll need it.

It's good to also remember the warranty can't be voided, they have to prove it was because of your mods. The 6 is less complicated and proven to be fine with mods...so it's safer/cheaper/sounds better/should be more reliable in the long term. If you want to tune it early and you don't want to worry I'd go with 6. If all you are looking for is speed go ecoboost.Or if someone is really that concerned about the warranty, just buy it and enjoy it stock for a while. It'll still be quicker than the V6 stock for stock. Then mod it in 3 years and make it a monster after the warranty is up or after you have seen other people mod theirs safely. Problem solved![]()
I made that same assumption early on, but we won't really know which one is quicker and faster until a side-by-side comparison of equal examples is done (ie, base vs base, manual trans vs manual trans, 3.55 vs 3.55, etc). It'll still be quicker than the V6 stock for stock.

The EB's slight HP and more substantial torque advantage led me to believe that the EB would beat the V6 at the drag strip. But that may not be the case. We will have to wait and see.
