Buy a nice GT PP or Mach 1 SLAP a Whipple on it and bust Shelby’s ass all day long and twice on Sunday and it will still Be reliable
And then pulley swap the Shelby and throw some E at it and that GT will be right back where it belongs, slower, cheaper, less valuable, and something no Shelby owner even cares about.

U posted the question. I have seen too many correctly modded GT whoop the hell out of Shelby. But seeing how you have so much knowledge why did u even ask the question. I think the 100k is a great U better jump on it

Always the same nonsense with Gt guys. Put it on a road course and see what happens. Its comical this stuff still comes up. Shelby’s weren’t designed for 1/4 mile. A base Gt is all that’s needed for 1/4 mile duties.

What exactly did I ask? Please quote my question that made your comment relevant or even in any way based in reality. And nobody who owns a Shelby GAF about what a "correctly modded" GT can do. A "correctly modded" Shelby will smoke your "correctly modded" GT while still being more reliable, having a higher threshold of potential, and more desired.

First off a fox body don’t have a dog in this fight. We are talking about a s550 platform not foxes so Please quiet in the back.

Looks like you're the one getting upset.

Any of us who bought a Shelby could have bought TWO supercharged GTs. Yet here we are, driving the GT500 instead. And the vast majority of us have already owned GTs. Yet here we are driving the GT500 instead. Not one of us would trade for a GT or downgrade to a GT unless some horrible financial misfortune befell us. The only reason I'd buy another GT is as a beater and to keep the miles down on my GT500. That right there should tell you something about which car is better. So nobody here that owns one cares what some kid in a supercharged GT can do. We can all buy that car. Try buying a GT500 and let me know how that works out for you. And then, if you do get one, tell me which car is better.

Back to the subject.

A GT500 might not go for 6 figures unless there is something special with it. But they are retaining very high values. We just need to not shoot ourselves in the foot and devalue our cars. If I see one posted at 6 figure prices, it does me no good to ridicule that price. I'll just quietly watch to see where it lands while hoping it stays higher than MSRP. LOL.

Yes. Exactly. A GT500 IS better than a GT. That is why the GT500 is the highest trim level Mustang and the GT is the entry trim level V8 Mustang.

Honest question. Can you show a post where anybody fron the 350 or 500 section has gone in the Gt section and trashed the cars? If you can‘t your post is complete bs. Hell I don’t see anybody ever trashing the Gt, simply stating there not 350’s or 500’s isn’t hurt feelings, its facts. But then again your doing the same bs and your in a Mach1. If I could daily a car it would be a Mach1, but my profession dictates I need a 550.
