Fair point. Have you considered keeping them and adding a sub/amp to fill in for the lack of bass? A single 8 and a small amp would be perfect. Not too boomy and loud, but plenty of bass fill and won't kill the bank.I love quality sound. The new speakers need power to be able to produce the bass the factory system currently does. (albeit not the cleanest bass, but it is there). The new tweeters rock! If I can't sell the speakers, I will keep them. They sound amazing compared to the factory ones. Like night and day, seriously. Just not enough power to truly make these speakers "sing". Wife won't let me invest the money needed to complete it properly. I thought someone who is looking for an amazing set and doesn't want to spend, 600,700 or more could benefit. Had I known then what I know now (thanks to a shifty salesman), I would have just invested in quality tweeters and been a happy little camper. But in answer to your question, they do sound good, but are under-powered and don't produce the quality they are capable of. The factory crud, believe it or not, produces the bass better based on the current power being provided by the factory amp.
