As a prerequisite, I have set the base ACM to LL outputs and a Flat EQ response . The output of the ACM with the use of a FOR-11CK wire harness to tap into the speaker outputs feed a 4 channel amp.
Pioneer GM-A6704 mounted below the parcel shelve in the trunk. Pioneer TS1730C component speakers in the front. Good fit with the tweeters in the pillars.
I tried infinity kappa 6.11 in the rear and I wasn’t happy with the sound they just did not sing in this application and decided to try the Pioneer TS1730C also in the rear. The mounting hardware out of the box of is well suited for the fit. What’s included is a you cut it to fit mount that’s versatile . I am not sure if the Metra 82-5605 speaker mount that works for the door would work in the rear.
As these are components, for the rear I added the tweeter on the rear panel above the 6.75 round with the crossover mounted at the base of the panel cavity. I also used fast rings. To match the spot that the tweeter would mount on each panel I used a straight edge off the center of the panel speaker grill as a center and established the height off the top edge. Any time I cut in to thin plastic with a hole saw I use a piece of hard wood as a guide for the pilot bit on the exit side and run the drill in reverse for the cut.
A brief note on the amp. Japanese Sanken output drivers 2SA1694 & 2SC4467 are used on the Pioneer GM-A6704 amp , Its rated at 60W/CH but there’s head room not bad for a 4 channel $100 amp.
After setting the amp up with a function generator and o scope, played what I use as reference tracks to tweak amp if needed.
