  1. How to adjust your parking brake

Yeah, thanks for the update. I'm also very curious to hear if they're able to tell you what was wrong with the calipers. In my case, I've ruled just about everything else out and just placed an order for new calipers. I'll throw those at it and see what happens.
  2. How to adjust your parking brake

Strange... Were you articulating or moving there levers on the calipers when it popped? I've moved mine back and forth a bunch in trying to trouble shoot this and didn't notice anything. Please update us on what the dealer says if you take it.
  3. How to adjust your parking brake

I'm in the same boat as you man. I just replaced both the right and left parking brake cables AND bled the brakes with a motive power bleeder. There didn't seem to be any air in the lines. I attempted to adjust the parking brake as described in the thread above, but can't get very far. My...
  4. Why did you get a manual

Why??? Because it's more fun for me. Who cares which car is faster in the quarter or whatever when 99.9% of the time we are all driving on the street. Sure, my grocery store run may be 0.1 second slower than a modern auto could do (stop light limitations not withstanding), but I'd be willing...
  5. Why DIDN'T you get a camaro?

Because 6' 4" I barely can get comfortable in the Mustang. Sitting in the Camaro feels like some sort of self torture.

Sounds good. Thanks for the assurances guys. I tend to over think things a bit sometimes. I will say that I'm loving the feel on this flex tune. Feels a bit more aggressive and smooth at the same time. MPGs have gone down, but only from 23 on gas to 19 on e85. It's a good trade off given the...
  7. e85 questions

Speaking of ethanol content... My nguage has been reading in the 90 to 91 percent range for the last 4 tanks. On my last fill up, I brought a small gas can to take some home to test. A manual test of the fuel revealed that it is actually e65. This particular tank was giving an nguage reading of...

I just got an Ngauge with a Lund flex tune. Loaded the tune for the first time today and was also having a hard time finding the alcohol learn gage. It turns out that you need to choose one of the other options when selecting what gages, not the default "All Ford" or "All ODB" or whatever. Alex...

  11. Steeda's S550 Billet Rear Shock Mounts Are Finally Here!

First let me preface this with saying that I absolutely loved these thing. The way they made the car handle and the superior ride quality (less bounce) that they offered were amazing. I truly loved them. They may have survived two Bavarian winters, but they did not quite survive 3 Minnesota...
  12. Dog hairs + cloth seats = no bueno

I've got 2 German Shepherds with super fine white undercoats that can completely saturate the cloth interior of my wife's CX-5 in no time flat. I used to spend afternoons with a vacuum trying to get it all out. Then I got one of these. The job still sucks, but I use this to get the hair...
  13. OK to drive without Shocks?

I want the smoothest ride possible. Going to go without shocks on the rear. Any problems with this idea? J/K LOL Actually I'm trying to track down an annoying pop / clunk that is coming from the rear suspension and am thinking that it may be the aftermarket shock mount with a spherical...
  14. Lesson learned on Winter Driving

I'm sure you are already well aware of this, but tires are paramount here in MN. I've been driving my 2016 PP year round since I got it in the fall of 2015. Drive just over 60 miles a day round trip all around the metro area (mostly St. Paul) every day. Performance winter tires and a VERY light...
  15. Highest mileage and longest period with original evaporator core?

48k on my 16 GT Premium PP and no problems here.

  17. Steeda's S550 Billet Rear Shock Mounts Are Finally Here!

Those are some good suggestions. I'll have to try to do something like that. I'm getting really sick of winter, maybe I should just move south. It's always below 0 and the roads are always salted. Makes being a car guy (or just a human being in general) difficult. Look at how much salt is...
  18. Steeda's S550 Billet Rear Shock Mounts Are Finally Here!

I'm daily driving mine through the super salty MN winters. Is this something I should expect to reduce the life of the unit? If so, is there some sort of way we could seal the top end of the mount from the elements, kind of like how the factory pieces have the plastic fitting? I'm loving these...
  19. Poll: Hood Scoop vs Hood Vents

In all seriousness though, vents are where it's at for me. The GT350 hood and fender vents are sweet.
  20. Poll: Hood Scoop vs Hood Vents

Hood scoops and giant wings for the win. Here is the custom work that I did back in high-school for a joke. The fast and furious crowd didn't really like it LOL. Just remember, each of these additions added at least 20 hp, especially the light up jaguar hood ornament.
