Upgrade 9 speaker System

The space where the OEM amp is located is tight. I put my interface box in that location. I can't imagine cramming an amplifier in there.

What is this magic that is going on here?

What is this magic that is going on here?

This is simply an interface that replaces the factory amp and sends signals to the aftermarket amp in the trunk and speaker outputs back to the factory wire harness.
This is what it looks like inside:


Here is a diagram of the connections. Minus the noise cancellation signals as my car doesn't have that.
