I am interested in this, USAA discount program is powered by TrueCar which on the '15 is only offering $379 off of MSRP on your car. These discounts are typically only valid for in stock inventory and they do not include any dealer fees. So I'm confused how this deal was written with a car that does not exist yet  These buying services were designed to move lot inventory for dealers, it's why they agree to it (plus they make it back in the FI/trade/fees).

It's why I like X-Plan, it's an honest price, protected from dealer fees, a fair deal for everyone.

I can't access USAA to get the discounted price. I built it on their site but it's secret.

I'm still confused how the dealer recovers from the loss, USAA doesn't kick it back to them, Ford I'm sure doesn't. Again good luck I hope it works out for you.

I do have a valid USAA certificate and that's what I brought to the dealership. USAA is powered by TrueCar, but usually prices are less than TrueCar.

For the sake of it, I just went and built the same car again. I got quotes from 2 of 3 different dealers (USAA gives you 3 dealers prices).. one at $33,207 and another at $35,032. Dealers generally honor the certificates of other dealers so I can use the $33,207 cert at the dealer who said $35,032. I also spec'd a GT Prem, 401A, PP, NAV, ESP and Reverse Park - MSRP of $42,700, lowest USAA price I could get was $38,896.

I've been using USAA to buy cars for years. It's better than sliced bread.

FYI for future reference that my friend is so not proof, I wish I looked at it earlier so I would have known. :gossip: :tsk:
What do you want me to do? Show the rest of the sheet with signatures and my personal info? It was a quick crop job to get my point across. Believe what you want. I don't have to prove anything to anyone here.

Mid-late October build dates = late November delivery??!!

I ordered 7/31 (actually earlier but that's when it showed up), so theres a good chance I wont even get a build until early November = delivery in December!!!

This one may unfortunately be out of my reach, I need some wheels soon

Under normal conditions, usually delivery is 2-4 weeks after buid date. New car, could be a little longer. Remember, they have 5 weeks and counting of complete cars that will have to be shipped also.

We hope you get that discount.
FYI there is no such thing as USAA discount. Specially not at A-plan pricing.
Sure ANY dealer can sell a vehicle at any price they want to, even A-plan BUT if it is not a TRUE A-plan, that means the dealer just lost money on that deal.
As mentioned by Tim, the dealer pays the same price for the vehicle whether they order 1 or 50.

right, and given the delayed oktb and other few delays, built mustangs backed up awaiting shipment, and the fact that I haven't even gotten a build date yet means I may be strapped down until late november/december. hope not!

Is that $33,207 out the door or does that not include tax, tags, and whatever fees they are charging you?

Your post has zero truths in it.

2015 401A/50th/ESP/RP/ACC/NAV MSRP's at $ 36,000 + Options = $42,995 (Close as I could get to $43ish)
X-Plan + Options = $40,351
Invoice + Options = $40,265
INVOICE + Options + (-300) = $39,965

$2,165 below invoice? Please :help: explain this to me.

Uhh, my invoice is $38400.

My car is a 400A, PP, Recaros, they need to re-add nav, but yes I am paying $300 under invoice, and I mispoke, my MSRP is $41,000
