For what it's worth I'll be driving my GT in rain or shine - or snow. It'll be my year-round daily driver. I live in an area that sees snow from November (some years) until late March/early April, but I figure with a near 50/50 weight distribution, modern ABS/TCS/Stability Control, plus a "Snow/Wet" mode for the driving modes, plus good winter tires, I should be good to go all winter so long as snow doesn't go more than about 6" deep. I drive on bus routes so they're usually plowed by the time I get to my daily commute.

I just prefer not to pick one up late fall and have to break in the engine with excessive idling, slow stop and go traffic and all that due to winter conditions. Plus if bought in fall I'd need 2000 dollars worth of winter tires + rims, $700-1000 worth of remote starter and $700 of stone guard all up front. I'll pick it up April, have it up to about 3000+km by June and then be hitting the drag strip :headbang:

Same here. My Ecoboost Premium will be my daily driver here in Michigan. I have a feeling I'll have to pop on the winter tires when I pick it up; if I take delivery before Thanksgiving I'll be happy (ordered late July).

FYI remote start comes standard :)

Say what you want about Canadian Winters, I'd rather have Toronto cold than Florida humidity.
Our summers are pretty good and our winters are not as bad as most of the country.

Plus, cars perform better in cool weather :D
Before relocating to Florida in 1997 I lived in Western MA. Exactly 305 miles and a 4 and a half hour drive each way from my driveway to Downtown Montreal. Made the Trip at least 4 times a year. Hockey, Baseball, Smoked Meat, Lauentide Biere, Poutine, and "Gentlemen`s Clubs" lol. I like Toronto too and Rob Ford as well. If I could deal with cold weather and gloomy rainy conditions, Victoria or Vancouver, BC would be attractive too. Sorry, once you get used to Palm Trees, there`s no going back to Maple and Pine. Cheers eh?

I have a question for everyone that shows their order in production... I placed my order at my dealer on May 23. The Ford site shows the order was placed on June 14. It is order R304 and it still shows in order processing. Anyone near that seen theirs in production or whats up? Am I looking at November?? Ouch

For the past several years I've been planning on buying the 50th anniversary Mustang. Prior to production timelines being published, I was certain that I would be able to buy it mid April, 2014. Separately, during the later half of last year, my wife and I were contemplating having another child. The 2015 Mustang was introduced in December 2013. My wife and I found out she was pregnant in January 2014. I ordered my 2015 Mustang the week order banks opened - retail order, priority 10. The due date for our little man is set for October 9, 2014. After hoping for April, my next hope was that I would have it, at the latest, before our son arrives, but now it looks like that isn't going to happen either. Oh, well, the end of this year is going to be great for me with a new Mustang and a new son. Plus, Arizona winters provide perfect Mustang weather. I do find it intriguing however that we can have an actual baby before Ford can go from introduction to key fob in hand of my new Mustang.

Info came straight from Ford.
You dont find it credible, then move on to another thread.
I think I'd give the new member with 3 posts some insight into how you have visibility and confidence in the information. He or she might not know what you do.

Dude, you should tell your story to Ford. Maybe they can work something out for you. As your story would work well into some of their new video's, and it would be good marketing :D

order delay

I ordered my s550 ecoboost pp on May 20th(1st day possible) and my order is still in processing, yet I see all these orders with vin #s in production.
Can anyone help with why or how to correct this situation.
Why don't dealers order our cars as dealer stock so we can get
them earlier???
Thanks Rick

Congrats on the new additions, not sure whether premium gas or formula will cost you more. Your timing could land you with a car built on the same day as your little man is born. I think that would be cool, especially if you kept it for him until he got his DL. Keep us updated here on the progression of both. :)
