The two dates we see are : 9-11 for scheduling and 9-22 build date.
There you go. That's the information we are trying to decipher. So Thursday is a big day and hopefully some folks will see their cars move to production the week of 9/22.

So, if they are built 9/25ish, and the QC hold is over, are we talking late October deliveries?

According to my dealer, Job 1 was the production of the 1,964 AE, job 2 was the production of the non AE. Imagine my surprise (and confusion) when I saw the pictures of the employee's holding "Job 1" T-Shirts with an 8/28/14 date, but they are standing under non AE cars... It seems Ford is delaying the release on purpose since there are so many 2014's still in dealerships! We who put our money down when Ford accepted our order's back in June, should be driving them now or at least early October. Now I read November! That's just bad customer relations.

Forst off, you're dealer lied to you. Ford never said the LE would the the first ones built. They only said that would be some of the first ones built.

Secondly, ford never ever said that anyone would get there cars late summer. They have said "look for them this fall". It's still summer until late September (I think without looking) and fall lasts all the way until December 20thish.

Thirdly, if someone is driving their car who put money down on their car in June is driving it in November, then they got their car exactly when ford said they would begin seeing cars. How is meeting then first timeline given bad customer relations?

People need to chill out. Remember 05 and how times where long waiting. It doesn't happen overnight. You knew this when you ordered your car, nothing has changed, and even if there has been delays, the time that ford said they would start arriving hasn't gotten here, and hasn't even missed yet.

My therapist would have a field day with the obsession over this

You guys should try and order a Mercedes or Porsche and not take a stock car from the lot. Waiting time 24 month plus..... And you guys complain about a couple weeks? :-)

Short update:
Kia & Suzuki: 5-7 month waiting time
VW: 5 month
Mercedes C class: 7-9 month
Audi: 3 1/2 month

Its like Xmas for the adults and they can't wait till it gets here. I joined this board a couple months ago and everyone was really nice to each other. Now everyone on here is jumping down each others throats and attacking everyone over anything. Its gotten pretty ridiculous.

+1 all I said in another thread was that I really dont like the fact that Ford isnt giving any dates on when the car hits lots. But Ford hat also been very vague about almost everything else involving this car up until a couple of weeks ago. I make one comment about maybe going to see a 2015 Challenger and some people jump down my throat about it. SMH

Wait time for my 2014 Shelby GT500 was about the same...6-8 weeks from order. I ordered my 2015 GT yesterday, so I will see if I join in on the frustration in 8 weeks...

I ordered mine yesterday too. Today dealer emailed me with PDF order sheet. Got order code and priority code among other things.

Priority code was 10 and retail order. He says it might have been pulled in front of other cars so I might get it sooner then I think, but not to get my hopes up.

I dont quite believe him but Il stay slightly optimistic :D

If it's anything like this with the local mustang clubs, I will gladly pass!

I ordered mine Sept 1st. The dealer told me Job 1 cars go to a warehouse and are held until a sampling of Job 1 cars are tested. Any bugs found will cause the factory to re-tool, then Job 1 cars are fixed, THEN cars are shipped. I'm glad I'm in Job 2. :)

I recommend expecting a longer wait for a new car. Many many people trying to be first. Patience is a virtue (and I usually don't have much!!)

obviously when the cars finally arrive, we'll all be lulled.
Yeah but I am sure they will find something else...lol.. I'd much rather sit at the vfw and listen and share some war stories... lol
