Picked the car up late last fall and now getting some nice spring "mods" done. Actually removing fake carbon fiber add-ons in favor of OE parts (although I admit the electric blue on the fender vents looked nice against the orange). Also got a tiny ding taken out today. Looking better every day.

Where did you find the OEM Fender vents?!?! Mine are peeling off the top and I can see exposed tape. I've looked at junk yards online but all out. I can only find the carbon fiber but I don't want those.

My dealer wanted like 900 bucks for those... something ridiculous. So I went to ebay last fall. Had to buy each one separately. Got reamed on one but the other was somewhat reasonable. I jumped on them because I really was not finding much. Best bet is probably finding an entire fender with light damage. Salvage yards don't seem to want to disassemble the inserts, for which I do not blame them.

Are you sure those are fake carbon fiber? The only fender vent replacements I've seen are actual carbon fiber. The blue is probably just the Bemoro vent decals and could probably be removed easily. I have them on my car.

ktulu26 Where did you get the black mirror covers? Been looking at vinyl on them but if they have an actual part I'm down. Assuming they make a GT version.

Ford Parts Giant is where I sourced the mirror covers. Unfortunately, they are paint to match, so I had them painted locally for about $80.

Are you sure those are fake carbon fiber? The only fender vent replacements I've seen are actual carbon fiber. The blue is probably just the Bemoro vent decals and could probably be removed easily. I have them on my car.

I'm sure you're right about the decals. I have no idea where the fender vents came from, but yeah, the "carbon fiber" pattern (which was not particularly convincing) was peeling off both the vents and the mirror covers. They definitely came from the same place (actually a set, including the mirror filler/triangles). Probably no longer for sale due to poor quality.

The ones I just removed are actually the original ford parts wrapped in faux carbon fiber vinyl. They are now an extra set if you are interested in them.
