  1. Un-Pimping My Auto

The ones I just removed are actually the original ford parts wrapped in faux carbon fiber vinyl. They are now an extra set if you are interested in them.
  2. Extended Warranty on used GT350

Yes, I did the exact same last fall when I purchased mine. I think what Blwnsmoke is saying is that if you want to "renew" (without having to risk inspection and all that) then you can do that only while the existing coverage is in effect.
  3. Un-Pimping My Auto

I'm sure you're right about the decals. I have no idea where the fender vents came from, but yeah, the "carbon fiber" pattern (which was not particularly convincing) was peeling off both the vents and the mirror covers. They definitely came from the same place (actually a set, including the...
  4. Un-Pimping My Auto

Ford Parts Giant is where I sourced the mirror covers. Unfortunately, they are paint to match, so I had them painted locally for about $80. Part No.: FR3Z-17D742-AAPTM COVER Part No.: FR3Z-17D743-AAPTM COVER
  5. Un-Pimping My Auto

My dealer wanted like 900 bucks for those... something ridiculous. So I went to ebay last fall. Had to buy each one separately. Got reamed on one but the other was somewhat reasonable. I jumped on them because I really was not finding much. Best bet is probably finding an entire fender with...
  6. Un-Pimping My Auto

Picked the car up late last fall and now getting some nice spring "mods" done. Actually removing fake carbon fiber add-ons in favor of OE parts (although I admit the electric blue on the fender vents looked nice against the orange). Also got a tiny ding taken out today. Looking better every day.
  7. Retrofitting 2019-20 GT350/R Puddle Lamps onto a 2016-18 GT350/R

If I had one of the newer cars, I'd probably be running a thread about how to get rid of the puddle lamps...but apparently I'm just an old curmudgeon at this point. Good on you for figuring stuff out and sharing info.
  8. Pursue a buyback?

Sucks, but I'd probably fix it and move on if you've really lost faith. Otherwise, extend that warranty and get every penny's worth out of the car during the next few years. Not laughing @ you by any means, but I have to laugh when I hear advice on FB and stuff that advises ppl that they...
  9. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Agree all around! C8 is a very impressive car (and my fried was able to get it for MSRP w/ Z51 as mentioned). It's just a little less engaging because it's so damn capable.
  10. What did you do to your GT350 today?

He's still in break-in and temps were only in the 40s so we didn't get a full rip. But it felt great, and fast. Visibility was great out the front and I like the feeling of being close to the front axle. Very eager to change directions, so it feels like a smaller car. Interior is very busy...
  11. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Drove to my friend's house to check out his new C8 and give it a drive after completing my busywork of oil changes and seasonal tire swapping. And of course some pics of my own freshly-washed steed in the golden hour light.
  12. Spoiler Question - Help Please

mmmm.... yeah, OK. I do not have center holes - so the previous owner either had them filled or used a trunk lid w/o holes in it. That does complicate things a bit. Thanks.
  13. Official GT350/R Mustang Owners Registry

Dude, sweet looking Mark VII back there.
  14. Spoiler Question - Help Please

My car came with a carbon fiber GT350 R type spoiler. Let's say I was inclined to return the car to stock ('16 track pack spoiler). Is there going to be any trouble converting back on this trunk lid? I'm under the impression that the track pack spoiler will cover the entire area in which the...
  15. Track fun and a note on tires

I have heard that the Cup2's are super overkill for street driving - and always throwing pebbles. Nice to see the PS4s can handle street and track. Anyone have first hand impressions on how the SuperSports fit in there? I know they are an older design.
  16. Traded my ‘19 Bullitt for a ‘22 Civic Si!

I bought an Si sedan as my daily right before prices got crazy. Great daily car with super gas mileage, fun enough around town, fits the kids and golf bags, gets around OK with snow tires. Could've bought a nicer daily, but saved up and got a GT350 instead. Pretty happy with the combo so far.
  17. Door striker adjustment.

Resurrecting zombie thread. It's a T40 if you're interested. This made a huge difference on my driver's side door. Super easy.
  18. Wisconsin WTB OEM Mirror Caps, Mirror Triangles, GT350 fender vents

My GT350 came to me with an interesting group of carbon fiber add-ons, which I'd like to become subtract-offs. Just want OE parts. Used is fine, just nothing damaged. Must be able to properly install back to stock 'like new' condition. For the mirror triangles, I just need the snap-in outer...
  19. Anybody know this Twister Orange Car in the Northeast?

https://www.tasca.com/used/Ford/2020-Ford-Mustang-388775400a0e087f342c87926edac0d9.htm?utm_source=autotrader.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=autotrader_listings I'm guessing it's seen a bit of track time. I'm sure the dealer knows nothing of the history, or if they do they wouldn't share...
