got my stripes!!!

so my AG came w/o stripes, after much debate regarding colors and finishes I decided to stick with the OEM style, especially since I got a clear bra installed. I was thinking matte finish black with gloss black pinstripe but if you install clear bra it turns them gloss anyway and that would look odd. Plus didn;t want a chopped up clear bra with gloss & matte finsihes ( super pricey and extra seams), So the FORD stripe kit for the shelby was $2800 w/o install, so had local wraps place do it. They claim their material is FAR superior to the thinner OEM stripes & much higher print quality too. I love the stock look: gloss black with white pinstripe:

Thats funny, the tint/graphics guy I went to said that if I was to do stripes that honestly I would save money by ordering the ones already made and cut for the car and he would gladly install them.

Very nice! Seeing that you quoted the OEM stripes, would you mind leetinf us know what yours put you back? I ask because I think the OEMs might have a limited life span.

According to the prices I got from my custom stripe shop, to buy the factory stripes alone would cost more than having custom stripes made and installed. Then on top of that, there would be the install costs for the factory stripes. There are aftermarket pre-made stripes for the GT350 that would save some money.

I can't tell you exactly the cost as I negotiated this upgrade as part of my purchase but was told my dealer budgeted $1000 max for it. If you want the source, i'm in Phoenix, colorbomb wraps. he said he had the dimensions so didn;t have to do any custom cuts. etc. if you order from ford it's 9 PN's amounting to $2803, and then you got the labor.
