If you can find an example of a standard, general policy within the past 10 years covering an track-related incident--where the owner didn't lie--I'll be pleased to be wrong about this. But, this is one of those aspects people will have to decide for themselves.
Certainly the industry trend has been where "any track related event" are excluded such as State Farm. Others are specific in excluding competition or organized racing but do not blanket the exclusion of "any track related event". Though I do not know personally of an instance where they have or have not covered a track related incident. At the end of the day insurance companies will stretch any policy to not pay a claim.

For 2017 season I will need new front tires and a 2nd round of fluid changes after 2 track days, about 6-8 autocrosses and 4200 miles.

I expect to need new front pads (will probably replace rotors as well) after the next track day.

Puts me at 2K for a 2 day track weekend. Assuming I get 6 days out of my pads and 6 days on the tires.

Trying to figure out how to get that down

Stock pads might save a little. Staying at the track knocks off 200 if that's an option. Everything else is kind of a given.

Im assuming they will last 6 Track days. I do track weekends (2 days) so I divided that by 3.

Are you changing your oil after every track weekend? Also, a gamble, but track insurance. Where you tracking? Depending on the track, maybe you don't need it?
