Nice color choice on your car. Getting the same exact car (with black roof)

Charleston? Is that South Carolina
Yeah SC. I get back to the states next month and hope to find a GT350 nearby to check out.

Urbane Legende

Not an urban legend. It was known on the 2009 and 2010 models. To make matters worse the transmissions weren't being rebuilt but replaced.

I believe it took a class action lawsuit of people affected to get the transmission covered when using the launch control.

Your right. I was unaware of lawsuit. I just never had issues and I drove it hard.

Oil filter is $35 and around $80 of Amsoil. Looking at $120 oil changes if you DIY!

I will never ever trust a dealer to work on this car for a fee. The only trip to Ford will be for warranty work and filters. I have had so many bad experiences with dealership maintenance (ford, chevy, and dodge). The prices they charge are out of this world and they Troubleshoot like idiots! Just my opinion.
I got the exact same color and stripe with the Tech package. I have never tracked a car before and the only place near me is a four hour one way trip so I decided on creature comforts instead. :ford:

It's a shame the GT350 doesn't come with Ceramic brakes. $$$$$$$$$

Rotors will be pretty expensive. I'd expect $1000 or more for a set of 4, based on the price of other oem 2-piece (essentially) rotors.
That would be a good price for 2-piece rotors so let's hope that's what they cost. Powerstop rotors for my F150 cost about $200 each.

The ones on my RS4 are about $1800 a set of 4, so I was just being hopeful. ;)

? I had a GTR(MY09) for 5 years......what surprises? I had just normal maintenance. Pads and rotors, if you tracked it, but nothing unusual.
Were the maintnance costs more like Ford Mustang GT, or closer to cars such as Mercedes AMG?

The price is shown earlier in the thread. The fronts are under $300.

I think the price of the rotors is a pleasant surprise, as long as they work well. The price of the front pads as also just about $300, so hopefully they are pretty beefy.

Why? Do you want to pay an extra 5-8k for little or no value add?
No, But there were other posters a few months back complained about it not having them, But they didn't consider the replacement costs.

Cost is always a factor or we would have a 3000 lb. car.
along with a bunch of other exotic goodies.
