What have any of you experienced with different settings on the track, and which ones are working better. Track mode or sport mode, traction control off or on, or advanced track off/on. Just curious since I'm taking mine to the track soon.

Track mode and all nannies off for experienced track junkies. Sport mode is too sensitive hence disruptive when you don't want it to...

Now if you're a beginner/novice then it may be wise to start in Sport mode for your first session or so. And then once you feel comfy with the car's behavior and ability to control it at its higher limits as well as developed proper driving lines on the track, then just progress to Track mode, etc. Go fast in increments... safer too. Have fun!

track mode
traction control = on (required by my club)

seems to be working pretty well.

Track mode automatically turns off traction control, but leaves stability control on.

It's a great way to get used to the car and how to best get the rotation you are looking for and comfortable with.

At some point it might make sense for those with better car control skills to turn off the stability control as well, but I haven't had the need for that yet. I can still get a bit of a drift with stability control left on.

Track mode turns off Stability Control automatically but leaves on Traction Control... until you manually press that Traction button on the lower dash to turn it off.

And then you will get a pop-up message that reads "Traction Control Off" while you're still in Track mode. Hold it down much longer turns off everything inc. AdvanceTrac.

I'd only turn off stability control once it's kicked in a few times because then you know that a) you've needed it, and b) know how to feel it. It's a nice safety and if you're not sure, leave it on.

Bossing, that's not true. Track Mode still has Stability Control (AdvanceTrac) active until you hold the TC button for about 5-7 seconds. Then you'll get a notification that AdvanceTrac is off and you're completely on your own. Try to put it in Track Mode, then try to swing the back out around a corner. It'll cut power and put you right back in line.

I think you are correct.

Yeah, you can see it clearly when your display is set to "status". I was so used to the "default" Track Mode saving my ass that when I finally turned AdvanceTrac off I nearly lost it around the first turn. I keep it in Sport mode now unless I'm at the track. It sure as hell woke me up!
