The only kit that id consider that isnt out yet is fluid concepts. They are kits being put together by lund racing. if i was going turbo id wait for his. Since jpc has expressed to me he isnt making a kit for the s550s.
I will have to wait and see but I am not that impressed with the fit and finish of the hellion kit given that it cost 9K. I do like the idea of a turbo though. Any idea when the fluid turbo will be out?

He hasnt stated a kit is in the making for the s550 chassis. Only 11-14 s197s. id like to think he'll make one though. I had a hellion kit on my termi, it wasnt all that great.

Its just going to take a while for there to be any worth while turbo kits. The s197 kits dont fit. Im personally looking forward to the jt-b. If it wasnt a jt-b id be all over the novi 2200sl.

One thing that I didn't see mentioned about a turbo setup is the ability to easily turn down the power when you want. When I pull the trigger on FI, I really like being able to turn it down I'm running my street tires for DD. Then you can turn it up when you are at the track. I am new to superchargers so correct me if I am wrong but I haven't seen that capability yet. I'm sure it's technically possible by putting some sore of air bypass in the intake track. That would seem strange though.

it just takes a 5 minute pulley change. You can have two tunes to switch between and a different size pulley. I personally find more low experience people blow up their shit turning boost up and down. Leave it and forget it
