Lol, man I could honestly care less car wise. As I've stated before I care more that ford is innovating and changing it's motors up and offering something worthwhile. The S550 is the first American car I've cared for/owned with it's european style and IRS. I care far more about tracking/autox than I do dragging. I really have no piece in this other than douchebags being douchebags.

Owning these cars should be fun and competitive. I love talking crap as much as the next guy, but be honest with yourself and be fair to others. Race him! IF you lose so what? Shake his hand and laugh. Grab a beer with him on the way home. In the end, you both live in Jersey and Jersey sucks!

I asked you, the OP and Jwow for your time slips? Are guys going to produce? Or ride 5 guys nuts on the fast list and keep posting videos that don't belong to you? I see once the call out gets made it's time for the ignore button.

I dont have any of my time slips (I only run the FP tune, its not as aggressive of a tune as others, not even full bolt on). If you want time slips, you are going to have to go to the forbidden ecoboost section of the forum.

Not even close to jersey lol. Half way across the country. Nah I just don't have much patience for people who want to trash on other platforms. F*** I'm not even what you'd call a Ford fan. I've always driven german, but show respect for all platforms. No reason to trash what another man loves, and that is all I've ever seen him do. Is he probably a good guy in person? Who knows, the only Jersey guy's I've met were complete....ehn nevermind lol.

I actually live about 20 minutes from cordova dragway, and I still never go. I prefer some good ol circles!

I got it dude. You think your car should run what the best drivers on the fast list should run in a tune only EB. That's exactly how it works at the track. Everyone can just easily match a good drivers time. Not to mention the laundry list of other bolt-ons it took to get to the top of that list! It takes no skill at all. Just throw a out of the box. Basic tune on a car. And run 11s in an EB! Or claim the top spot the fast list.

This is actually my second ford. First one was a 1985 Thunderchicken I had at 16 back in 1995. Lasted all of 6 months. Never owned another until this one.

Haha no biggie.

First American car in general for me. First car was an older 2000 Audi S6 (I miss this car like crazy.) I then drove a 3000GT VR4 while I was in the military for quite a while. I then transitioned to a '10 Audi A6 (This car was AMAZING for long trips. Miss it as well.) Then to a '13 Mustang V6 (When I first seen the S550 body. Test drove it, and was already very well modded for a phenomenal price and we walked away with it that night. And now I have my EB.

Yup. Owned a 97. At the time they were in a class MUCH further ahead than they should have been. For only putting down 320 AWHP it was an absolute beast. But it's that car that made me refuse to ever touch a mitsubishi ever again. Ask anyone who's ever owned one. Was out of commission more than it was on the road. So many bad parts on them OEM. Shit 20 years later and the nicer ones still go for the price of a GT haha. Was a blast to drive, but miserable to own. Never again. (Still one of my favorite cars aesthetically though!)

I love the surpa body and 2JZ, but the interior on those is ATROCIOUS!

This was a motortrend edition based on those cars. Supra and 3kGT included with ferrari, viper, corvette, nsx and porsche.

I think you have me confused with someone else. With the FP tune, an ecoboost will run low 13s. With full bolt on, e30, tune, u might be in the 11s. Still crazy considering even with those mods, you are way cheaper than a stock GT. Never did I say ecoboosts are the fastest cars out there, but have lots of potential.

Grandstanding is ugly, being proud of your car is beautiful.

I know a gt will smoke me in a 1/4 mile.
I know a eb will be better around the turns than me.
What I don't get is why everyone is so shitty with each other, and not just in this thread but the whole form. Very few EB and GT guys will even lend advice to v6 guys, it's an ego thing. Bluebeastsrt I've seen you pop in our lonely section of the form and offer good advice but let's not go on with this argument with the EB guys. 7 pages is to much to devote to this argument/question. Nothing is left to debate, only thing left is to race, and if that doesn't happen everyone drop it cause were just burning calories that we could be devoting to something beneficial.

It is not an ego thing. Want to know why things are the way they are? You have people constantly trying to start comparison fights and breaking the forum rules but nothing is done. People are heavily vested in these cars and that is great but things like part throttle racing are going to be called out for being a silly justification.

I enjoyed a 14 V6 for over a year. I know what the car is about. When I would go into the V6 section on this forum to check out builds, mods, etc I would always get flamed because of what I own now (never bashed). I remember a thread about FI (I considered FI on my 14 but it just did not make sense to do it in my case) and when I made a post I got flamed hard and called a hater because I said something other than what they want to hear. Going into the EB section to read about mods and builds? Got ran out and called a hater because I own a GT and they don't like the car. I once said "very nice car!" on an EB build thread and got called a hater and told to leave the section by another member completely out of the blue. Why should I ever go into those sections if they are so hostile?

People on here band together and want to think what they own is better than the others. Each engine and options offers different advantages and disadvantages though most are not objective enough to discuss them (which is why all comparison threads go south). Not all but majority of EB owners seem to be against the GT and hate the car. That is fine but do I have to read it every time I log on? People are cowards and try to dodge what they really want to say. I cut through the crap. I liked my 3.7 and I have driven the EB which is a good car. You know what I didn't like? The communities behind the cars (mostly the EB community) and the constant hate and negativity from them. Why should I show anyone respect when members like Spykexx never will?
