Illumi-harsh-nas? Glutton for punishment would be more like it. And I still like a ride that's firm as long as it doesn't go 'ka-blam' over a railroad grade crossing.I've daily driven a 2004 Mach 1 the last 144,000 miles - with very stiff Eibach Sportlines, Tokico Illuminas (set on 5 up front)
Ford's MRC tuning is almost certainly going to be biased toward understeer (if only slightly), and being able to tweak it like you would 'conventional' adjustable shocks & struts should still net you some lap time improvement. Especially if you can tweak the front and rear dampings independently.
It might be nice if one of the things you could tweak was what the dampers default to in the event of signal loss to the MRC module. OE's probably default to full-soft - I've heard pretty reliably that this is what the Camaro's MRC does - which might be an unwelcome surprise if a random bit of OPR or other debris takes out a suspension sensor wire while you were running hot laps.
