Yep, I'm running Cortex Racing coilovers, very happy with them

I have a base 350 and I’m thinking about cortex coilovers but not sure whether to go with street, track, or race coilovers? I plan to track only 2 or 3 times a year. Are the racing coilovers really bad NVH compared to stock? I’ll be on the street 99% of the time so I don’t want a set up that I can’t live with. What are your thoughts?

I addded my own transmission cooler so shouldn’t have to worry about limp mode....haha

I figured there might be more to it than just removing the shocks.

I bought the DSC Tuner via Ridetech which I thoroughly regret. Not only do they not do any custom tuning of it on their own, mine came with no tune at all. Not a huge deal but still not the way I like to start out. The majority of reviews online just rave about the "difference". I have yet to find anyone substantiate it with better times. (although they are likely out there).

After getting a tune loaded into the controller I was seriously underwhelmed. On the highway the front end just floats. If I go over a speed bump the front end bobs up and down like it has blown shocks. I even put the stock tuner back in to make sure my shocks still worked. The stock tune is waaaay stiffer. When I asked DSC they stated at slow speeds the shocks are supposed to be soft. I just don't think multiple undulations of the front end going over a bump slowly is right though let alone the freeway action.

I bought the controller primarily for the low speed tuning for autocross. I have always heard that is where the magic was and once I saw the tuning software I was sold on trying it. I believe they told me by the end of December the magnaride coilovers will be released for the GT350. I can't wait to move toward a more National level competititve S550 spring setup on coilovers. The Tractive dampers are slated to run $7k. Yikes. I can get a set of JRZ coilovers for $5k fully setup w/springs, etc. Or even go with what I had last MCS for cheaper than $7k.

I am just hesitant to spend any more $$ on the new technology. Let someone else figure it out and then come back.

Im a bit lost by your post did you try tuning it your self?

I did pick up some NVH after I installed the control arm spherical bearings, diff bushings and sub frame lock out bushings, not real bad but noticeable, it's not like my R was the most comfortable on the street to begin with, so I would probably stay away for those upgrades.
