try it vs an s550 roush and see if the outcome remains the same.
Wasn't that far behind a 16 GT/CS with a centri. Almost beat him to the 1/8th. His 6R80/3.55 vs my MT82/3.31's. Both on a 28" bias ply. I 60'd better haha. Hence why I bought these

Not to come off as a smart a*s, but I see a lot of guys running around with super chargers and not running drag tires, so in essence they are just spinning their wheels all the time, even on a roll?

I think you found your answer then.

Yeah umm there's nothing better than your NA S500 handing a 2010 Roush 427R Mustang it's ass. Twice times, then 1 more time after that.
Thats cute. But you would have been a tiny spec in the rear view mirror of my 9 second Paxton car. The tuned guys tend to get carried away with this arguement. A roush car has to deal with warrantys. Tuners don't. If you're going to forfeit your warranty. Go big! And run 8s or 9s not 11s.

If that's all that's important, they're fine, but PD blowers easily overwhelm even the most sticky high performance summer tires in low gears on the street. It's common to see 19"+ drag radials on the road to make it work and not just run "bigs" all the time.

A lot of Hellcats have what basically amounts to spare donut tires on back. My buddies coworker bought one used and rolled it into a ditch showing off leaving work the day after he bought it.

Blown cars drive like stock as long as you're smart, leave the nannies on, and know the limits. Having drag radials just allows you to take advantage of the $8-10k you just spent.
