Well I got everything back from coating including the 2020 GT500 valve covers. I’m waiting on the new sleeved longblock so mocked it up on the old engine and it turned out even better than I envisioned.

Looks great but huge. I'm sure you have measured for fitment, just looks really big sitting out like that.

Looking forward to see how it performs. Excellent execution, if you can hide most of the harnesses (being picky here), it will be a work of art.

Thanks man. It’s not needed, went 2yrs just the stainless with no heat issues and now I have them ceramic coated so all is good without heat wrap.

. Thanks bud! The only way to hide the harness is to make a new one or atleast make pig tails for every connector and even then you’ll see wires unfortunately.

Just my $.02

Heat wrap them. Double up on your insulation under the hood. Heat wrap absolutely every bit of the exhaust and intake piping you can. You're dealing with an entirely different level of heat under the hood with the turbos. Besides, you have nothing to lose but a few dollars in heat-wrap.

And in the end, the cooler the engine bay is, the better the car will run, the more powerful it will be.
