Hi All,

In a certain position, my driver's side seatback developed unwanted movement. I took it to the dealer yesterday, and
the tech fixed it and said there is a TSB on it. The movement comes from the lower part of the seat and is transmitted up through the seatback. I'm not sure what he did, but he mumbled something like "used a piece of rubber heater hose to fix it".

Anyway, all is good now. Mentioning the issue, in case you have the same problem. Mine is a fairly early 2019 build.

Yes, it is a Ford TSB that was released in 2018; TSB 18-2361 attached.

This can be a DIY fix as well (for those that don’t like taking their S550’s to the Dealership Service Center)...

Does this apply to the non-powered Recaro seats also or just the factory leather seats?

The attached pdf is applicable to many Ford products and there is no mention of seat type.

If experiencing the issue, look under your seats and see if what is documented in the above attached TSB will work on the lower seat frame as outlined.

Thanks man. Will keep in case my car develops that noise, but so far so good. I removed the seat module yesterday, to check connectors (got a soft TED code), so could have done it then. Oh well.

As a side comment, TSB is calling for a 3/8" clamp on a 3/4" hose. Sounds like a mistake, but maybe it still reaches.
