I bought the Bullitt with the intention that it would be my Weekend/Personal/Fun car. A lifetime keeper hopefully.
I bought a beat-up 2001 Escape alongside it as a daily/work car, but have already sold it in favor of what I think is a good find. A 2003 Mustang GT. It was bought new locally by an older couple wanting a fun retirement car. Meticulous maintenance kept. 4.6 V8 and 5-speed manual for $1,800 bucks. I couldnā€™t resist. Itā€™s near impossible to find one of these that isnā€™t modded to hell and back and dogged out.

I think they make a good pair. ;)

Iā€™ve had a chance to put quite a few miles on this car already and Iā€™m frankly impressed.
Itā€™s tight as a drum for its age. And the ride, handling, smoothness and power curve are surprisingly good.
The interior is pretty plasticky, but otherwise I feel like this era Mustang doesnā€™t get enough respect even though the current era Mustangs are from another planet by comparison. ;)
