MGW is a night and day upgrade. Definitely pricy and a pain to install but so worth it if you enjoy rowing gears.
Ordered yesterday . Won't install myself though, got a guy for that. Gonna drain and fil the trans while we are at it. Ordered a gallon of fluid to fill with as well. Hoping it will all be here first of the week and maybe get installed over the Thanksgiving break.

I have one coming, too. Be here today. No problems with the stock shifter, just want it faster and more precise. I have a lift so I'll be doing it myself.

Yeah I have Austin doing mine. I am too old to lay on my back anymore... Mine has the annoying noise in 2nd gear I am attempting to fix...

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I am really thinking about a MGW shifter, I have the 2nd gear resonance and it is annoying. My question is, I invested in a Billetworkz shift knob which came with the adapter to adapt to the stock shifter. Will I have to give up my shift knob with MGW or will it fit sans adapter? I love my new shift knob, don't want to give it up, would rather just get the noise fixed...
Here is the white ball from Billetworkz on an MGW stick:

I would expect that the Billetworkz's knobs have the same bottom, so you will probably just ditch the adapter for OEM shifter and use the collar/jam nut which comes with MGW the same way I did.

Yes, thank you. I did call both Billetworkz and also MGW called and verified I didn't need an adapter. Their customer service is top notch :) My MGW is supposed to be here Monday along with a gallon of Amsoil fluid to change the fluid while under there. Can't wait to get it installed... Mine is the short teardrop but I anticipate it will work just fine...
