Just an example. This is the maximum torque by gear for an early 2020 GT500. They played with these numbers some as production progressed, so the later ones are different. These are in Nm, so 516 Nm = 380 ftlb and 1475 Nm = 1087 ftlb.

@Angrey ford actually does what you speak of on the stock 2020+ gt500, and it can be done on the gt as well. However, it’s done in terms of engine torque not just blade angle. Ford doesn’t do it on the stock gt because in many circumstances it has the potential to get traction in 1st gear.
I know you're trail blazing when it comes to tune parameters with the Ford architecture. Why aren't any tuners offering this as an option? I'd have gladly saved a mountain of cash to have a tuner use the physical elements there to create a traction control strategy that works "better"?

What's frustrating is that it's all tune, MOTEC doesn't add any sensors (at least not for the TC portion) but just used the CANBUS system better to keep things near the edge rather than full menu.

Because they can’t “rinse and repeat”? I can’t speak for them, but this is why I’m such a proponent building a self-tuning community and knowledge base. That way so many people won’t be so hamstrung by what their tuners are willing to do.

Mike is tuning my TT set up in 3, 2, 1..... Wait for it... Wishful thinking! 🤣

I’d tune everybody’s car and I’d do it for free…if I had the time! I love this stuff.

I do understand why the mainstream tuners do what they do. Making a single good tune is extremely time consuming. You’d be working for sub-min-wage if you spent that much time on every tune.
