I turned advanced traction control all the way but sometimes I feel like it still comes on and pulls power. I dont know if its clutch protection mode or if traction control is still working a little in the background. Can a tuner turn the traction control all the way off in the tune?

There are clutch protection strategies at work within the stock tune. Roush tunes for the SC packages also have them. Trust me a tune will resolve what you are sensing. I went down that road and learned through a lot of questioning about that. An aftermarket tune will resolve the issue. Otherwise torque management (from where clutch protection gets its data) will be active. There is a way to disable but the whole instrument cluster lights up like a Christmas tree. Someone is surely to chime in about how to do it soon enough.

Then datalog your car. You may find that timing is being pulled due to high IAT temps or other reasons. Providing insight to the setup saves others time that could be used doing other things like getting lucky or helping someone else with that time.

Yes, our cars have the ability to change how much Fuel or Spark is "cut" when a traction control event happens and it can be modified. I'm not 100% sure of it being the proper way to do it. I wonder if you could pull that fuse (#62?) to see if you are still experiencing the same issue.

You can bring it up. They will want a datalog of you trying to recreate what you feel when you say that it "pulls power". They might point you in a completely different direction, based on the logs. Trust your tuner.

Thanks that's all I was asking. I dont have the Ngauge so I have to drive an hour away for the shop to do a pull then data log it, wait for lund to reply it's a all day process. I was just curious if anybody has had a similar issue. Also wanna run 12lbs of boost but I'm only seeing 10 right now. Lund said it gated for 12 but I'm only seeing 10. How many lbs of boost can I run safely without any issues . I heard 12 was as high as you can go on 93? Is that true? I think I need my boost controller needs adjusting in order to see 12lbs because lund said its gated for 12lbs but since it through email that can physically adjust the controller. I might have to take it to a shop that tunes and can adjust the controller while it's being tuned. Car is on a wastgate setup

XPiggy customs here in Australia have made a switch that allows you to put the car into what we might call “dyno mode”.
It basically intercepts the wiring that runs to the plug near the airbox and allow you to connect/disconnect the plug at will.
THIS will get rid of ALL the nannies as far as I’m aware.
The downside is that it renders ABS inactive whilst in use.

Even with traction/stability disabled I was seeing it kick on during shifts while data logging. I ended up wiring up a switch/relay to terminate the wire in the engine bay, just like what Burkey mentioned.

I don't have the issue any longer. For a short term solution you can unplug the connector, but I wanted something I could control from inside the car.

anyone have any guides as to how to install/wire a toggle switch for the dyno plug?
