Anybody with a centrifugal supercharger successfully doing road course track sessions without blowing up their engine or melting their cats? What mods to keep heat down?

FWIW its very difficult to double your power and track more than a lap or two. Doubling the power doubles the heat generation - thermodynamics is a harsh mistress. I learned that lesson years ago with a non-mustang aftermarket turbo car.

Even if you can lap, I found I was spending so much time staring at temp gauges and fretting over temps that I wasnt enjoying driving on track. On the street is was a hoot.

This is the main reason I don't add additional power to my cars, apart from simple bolt ons for the underpowered ones. Forced induction is so damn fun but I prefer reliability over anything and Ford got the balance so right with these cars. The Mach 1 stock can take a hell of a beating on track, on an endurance level. I'd hate to sacrifice that.
