If you're trying to get something that can work on the street and still be competent on track, the Hankook RS4 is probably the best option.

When the time comes for a dedicated setup, I would recommend our 18x11" ET52 wheels with spacers up front so you can rotate, wrapped in 295/30-18 or 315/30-18 Nankang AR-1 or 305/35-18 Nitto NT01.
I think I'll go ahead and order a set of 19x11" ET52's. Will 305/30-19's clear the stock struts with 23mm spacers (+ ~2.5 negative camber)?

yeah they should. 25mm spacers are more typical tho, and you need to get the camber with camber plates, not camber bolts or strut to spindle mods.

I would use 25mm spacers as mentioned above. Also yes please dial in negative camber via plates and not bolts. Bolts will reduce the inner clearance and cause thicker spacers to be needed. -2.5* will work!

I would look at 275/35R19 on all four corners on 19x10s if you're doing dedicated track wheels. They'll fit on OEM pp wheels too.
Not to hijack the thread but I'm tires shopping also.
I'm buying a set of Pilot Cup 2's for my 2018 Mustang Gt PP1. Im using OEM wheels for summer and winter with a swap. Can I run 275/35/19's on all four corners with Front: 9" Rear:9.5" PP1 wheels?

Yes you can. Any particular reason you're choosing SC2 over say, Hankook R-S4 for HPDE use, or RE71R for autocross/tracksprint/TT?

I was between the Cup 2's or the PS4s. I figure the Cup 2's would track better and wear faster, PS4s would last longer but have less grip on track day. I'll be lucky to get more than one track day in this year so i figure the abuse wouldn't degrade them all the way. I am not particularly familiar with the R-S4's. Edit: also this would serve as my summer tire set as well.
Oh hey, Im down the street from ya btw lol

You're right that the PS4S would last longer and grip less. R-S4 are known to be a great HPDE tire that wears extremely well for its TW rating, and handles heat very well. They're a great enduro tire. They'll be quicker than the PS4S, similarly quick to the SC2, and will wear in between both.

You're at TGM? I've been wondering who's got that black PP car :)

Damn I'm gonna have to look into those now. It's essentially gonna be my summer set with two Road America days in June so maybe better longevity would be alright, I was think about spoiling myself with the SC2's and going 275 Squared but wasn't sure if it would fit the PP Oem's. I'm bad at tire fitment.

I work in schuamburg, live in clarendon hills so it's likely not me lol.

update; I went ahead and got the 19x10’s with 285/35 all around. Just put them on the other day and they’re great! On RE-71R’s, let’s see how they do!
